Blue Puffball is known for its eye-catching dark blue scented flowers. The flowers bloom from June to September. This plant is perfect for brightening a border, but also works well in a pot. Blue Puffball flowers form on new growth so it can be used as a dieback shrub in colder areas. Like all chastetree, it prefers well-drained soils, is salt tolerant, and deer resistant.
